Mentoring and Leadership

  • Architected (with a collaborator) a new child-care policy for an international ACL conference (EMNLP 2018) to save costs and increase outreach. This policy and method were later adopted by other international ACL conferences (NAACL 2019, EMNLP 2019).
  • Student Research Workshop (2019) Mentored Students in writing scientific writing (pre-submission mentoring)
  • NAACL (2019) Mentored early-career researchers and led mentoring discussions during the conference.
